His experience spans from the shallows of Laguna Madre in Texas to the deep offshore waters of Southern Mexico, giving him a broad and well-rounded foundation in both saltwater and freshwater angling. Captain Brandon’s passion was influenced by his father, a highly accomplished angler with multiple world records and tournament victories. Through years of fishing alongside him, Brandon gained hands-on knowledge, refined techniques, and a deep respect for the sport. His skills have been featured in books, magazine features, and television segments, all highlighting his ability to locate fish and guide others to success. Outside of the water, Brandon has dedicated time to passing along what he’s learned. While living in the mountains of New Mexico, he volunteered at his alma mater and served as a fly fishing instructor at a summer camp program. There, he mentored young anglers—including kids with disabilities—teaching both practical fishing skills and fostering an appreciation for aquatic ecosystems.
